I know how you feel- Asher is a bit scary; what could be seen as a pathological seeking of power. BeHereNow Apr 2012 #6

He has been promoting himself for a long time-
Maybe he finally attracted a big donar?
I wish him well- a very determined young person.
Annoying at times, but determined and persistent!

As far as I could tell the boy had no principles or ethics of any kind behind his political goals. He is full of raw naked ambition and everything else is secondary to his gaining political power.

People like that almost never use their office to accomplish anything except to remain in it, or use it as a springboard to a still higher one.

Still, he is just a kid and who knows, maybe he'll do some good.
Cap'n Sunshine met him years ago when he was just starting out and
liked and encouraged him. I like the Cap'n very much and think he
had a good feeling about Asher.

Funny, when I read Political Ponerology, I thought of Asher,
and at a recent follow up with my surgeon, for a minor surgery, out of the blue,
he launched into this rant about how all politicians were sociopaths in
his observation- those who seek power should not be given it etc...

Asher certainly has shades of that quality, no doubt.

We shall see where he lands.

taking girls out, or shaving supplies.

Why not spend that $10 a week allowance on a cable tv ad buy?
