Middle school teaches "real men" perform oral during a woman's period

http://www.inquisitr.com/1291196/x-rated-sex-ed-class-upsets-middle-school-parents/

"
According to the Daily Mail, the sex-ed class taught at Pine Valley Middle School in San Ramon, Calif., was filled with crude memes that one parent told a local television station cannot be unseen.

“This is definitely more than R-rated. This is X-rated,” the newspaper reports the mother as saying.

Among the images to appear in the meme-filled presentation entitled “Top Conception Myths” was an image of a man with a bloody face with the following message:

“A real man loves his woman every day of the month.”"

Why do they equate 'love' with one specific sexual act?

Notwithstanding the issue of dividing men into 'real and unreal' men, or the one of casting women as chattel ('his woman'), or the overt heterosexual bias implicit in pairing a 'real man' and 'his woman', love does not require performing sexual acts.

What's even more disturbing when you take the link is that the picture of what I assume is the front of the presentation says 'More than one million copies sold'.

It sounds like a specific presenter tried to spice up an in-class presentation with a Powerpoint full of internet-sourced memes and images (the "Let's Talk About Sex" book I think is just an illustration for the story; not sure it's actually related)...
