(10,942 posts)Those workers are fighting the Koch Brothers in a effort to maintain decent wages. It is highly possible that a boycott will cut the legs from under those union workers and give the Kochs the leverage that they need to bust unions in Georgia-Pacific. I have used quilted northern toilet paper and Vanity Fair napkins at home for years, but started boycotting those products earlier this year. In light that my decision may have helped the Koch brothers destroy unions, I stopped my boycott as of yesterday. My next toilet paper purchases will be ultra quilted northern and I will start buying vanity fair napkins again.
I don't want to hurt unions that are standing against the Koch brother's efforts. I will find other ways to do my small part to stop the Kochs from installing their extreme rightwing dream for america.

(130,865 posts)Its a long list, and I think we should know more about each company, like, what's the % of koch's interest, union situation, etc.

(51,076 posts)To get rid of one union the koch suckers bought out the plant and promptly closed it down.

(12,496 posts)They must need it for something, no telling what!!
That's okay--except for Dixie, I never use any of those brands anymore. It's been more difficult to find good paper plates and bowls, though I've found a few possibilities.

(24,634 posts)Huh...no wonder those commercials used to be super sexist. But I love the brand. I have no problems giving it up.
