Turns out Michelle Obama, our FLOTUS, was next door all day and I didn't event know.
Some shindig at the Intercontinental Hotel here in Boston.
Security out the wazoo and whatnot.
No call, no invite... I feel dissed.

But like most of us, she avoids people whose first name begins with the letter X.
Like that time when I was a kid, and Xavier Cugat was performing at Carnegie Hall.

my workplace - this was back in the early 90's - and one of my coworkers came in babbling about it; well what could I do? So I went down there to buy something, but really wanted to see him - when I walked in, the ENTIRE restaurant - booths, tables, counter - was full of secret service personnel who ALL turned to me, looked me in the eye, lol, as I searched the room looking for him - he was there alright, but was enjoying his breakfast and assiduously avoided eye contact. (I didn't take it personally.)
