Did you folks just watch Russel L. Honoré on Rachel

Louisiana has passed a law retroactively to stop a law suit against big oil for destroying the wetlands.
Honoré was pissed.
I'll post the video later - must see TV, Good grief big oil owns them. People elected by citizens are prepared to allow big oil to destroy the state. This is madness

2005, after Katrina. I wanted to cheer when I heard him a while ago. I couldn't believe someone actually had the nerve to say what he did about Big Oil. And yes, he was very angry. Watch for the push back from the oil and gas industry. But every word he said was true.

Especially appropriate a few days after Memorial Day. I'm pretty sure all those brave soldiers didn't die for some corrupt, hegemonic plutocorporatocracy.

continue to vote on behalf of the oil industry. In a just world Jindal and the legislators would be hauled off to prison.

...whatever his flaws, he put the fear of God into Standard Oil, the BP of his day. Alas, I fear the chances of another Kingfish appearing on the scene is zero...

He's a good guy...glad he's involved. I wouldn't underestimate him!
