I believe she claimed she was on birth control at the time (which I find surprising) and blamed it on that. Since then she's fully on the "God's Will" bandwagon.

I've seen the show and read about them a bit. Seems they have a nice, caring, and productive family. Why someone strokes out over it is beyond me. You know what the best way to argue against a person who opposes your right to choose is? I couldn't say for sure, but it's probably not criticizing their choices about reproduction in return. Once that is done, it becomes apparent that you yourself weren't really all that pro choice to begin with. You either fully support a person's right to choose, or you don't. Well, you can I suppose, but then you become hypocrite who lacks any credibility.

I've heard this same tired argument before. Last time it was from the mouth of my right-wing uncle, advocating for birth-restrictions for "Those people" in "That part" of town. Of course he claimed that he really just cared about the planet. Yeah...the planet, that's it!

What someone chooses to do with their body is none of anyone's damn business. There isn't a caveat to this statement that says "Except when I disagree with their ideology".
