the Times's digital remake a few months back, under Jill Abramson's watch, was the best improvement of any newspaper website I've ever seen. It propelled the digital version of the Times about a thousand miles forward. Then they fire her.

In an age where people were doubting newspapers would survive the digital age, she proved the Times can survive. Now watch someone get the paper and crash it into the ground so that Murdoch could buy it!
