Dear President Obama submitted for your consideration

What are you thinking? Going into a Wal-mart tomorrow to praise them for environmental issues doesn't sit well with me. They are sponging off US tax payers. They can afford to save on energy practices since they have a history of many ways to cut corners illegally on the paid help.

We looked over your resume twice and hired you. You turned your back in the first term on EFCA. Yes you have been great at some things. Comfortable shoes on the picket line hasn't happened yet.

For a president before midterms that wants to pick up seats in the House and KEEP the Senate, this won't energize the base.

For all the "hope" we were told about, it has only been a partially fulfilled dream. Turn it around? Yes you can. Start listening to more of the little people that elected you. That is a change we can ALL believe in.

Even with disappointment, I'm keeping the faith.

Respectfully,

Omaha Steve

Such a disappointment. My guess would be this is a way of telling the people who run the country that he was just kidding about that piddling $10.10 minimum wage.

A director of the company?

I'm glad President Obama is showing us what a great company she helped build. It could be very helpful when the whiners drone on about "living wages" and that other claptrap.

You're about to step in some deep doo doo with your own constituents. Republican's may not use their brains much (or seem to) but, we the Democrats are quite able to understand who is dangerous to our well being and Walmart is. Please don't associate with them. It will rub off. We already worry that you spend too much time pandering to the 1%. This will make that no better.

The Walton heirs represent the .01% elites.

This company set the standard to destroy American manufacturing in pursuit of cheap goods.

They have illegally and relentlessly opposed the fundamental right of workers to organize and collectively bargain for decent pay.

And they have created another set of outrageous profiteering at the expense of the taxpayers through subsistence programs required to offset their designed poverty wages.

Manufacturing is coming back to America? Now that we are reduced to 3rd world status in pay, and no government to back the worker -- more of their master plan.

If Obama was really a Democrat, a photo op at Walmart would be announcing "check card?"

Right?

was one of the most exciting hopes with the new presidency.

To go from that to photo ops at Walmart for the disingenuous distraction they have concocted rather than doing what is right for their workers is just another sad day for America.

What is Obama thinking?

that degredates Wal Mart's reputation on their home turf about unfair labor practices of Wal Mart.

He'll speak about and give homage to Wal mart's success in the use of alternative energy.

Mark my words.
