Bundy Ranch Supporter Talks About Shooting "Deserters" in the Back, Refers to Ranch as a BattlefieldStarting at 2:20 (They're referring to the Oafkeepers leaving the Ranch). Insurgent wearing the black shirt: "This man and The people that obeyed that order have violated my personal creed."
Other insurgent: "Absolutely" Insurgent wearing the black shirt: "You don't fucking walk in and say I'm sorry and you're back in brother, you can walk in and say you're sorry and you're lucky that you're not getting shot in the back because that's what happens to deserters on the battlefield" Other insurgents: "Amen brother, amen" These are the same people harassing locals and setting up checkpoints on public roads. http://www.8newsnow.com/story/25371465/concerns-growing-about-militia-members-at-bundy-ranch

Oath Keepers Fire Back At Bundy Security: 'They're FBI Infiltrators' --LMFAO
[img] This is not snark. The events in this diary actually are happening and did happen.
The Oath Keepers took to their website and accused Bundy's top Security crew, Booda Bear, Ryan Paine & Jerry 'somebody' of being FBI infiltrators. This happened roughly 24 hours after Bundy's top security crew, Booda Bear & his two underlings, Ryan & Jerry, kicked the Oath Keepers off the ranch and accused them of: "stealing' being "deserters," "traitors," committing "treason of the highest order" and learning that Ryan Paine said, on video, that the Oath Keepers were "lucky [they're] not getting shot in the back' for deserting the Bundy battlefield." http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/04/30/1295810/-Oath-Keepers-Fire-Back-At-Bundy-Security-They-re-FBI-Infiltrators-LMFAO Just last friday (4/25) the Oafkeepers claimed there was going to be a drone strike in "48 hours". Its WAY past time these assholes be rounded up and jailed. If the job is too big for local law enforcement, then use FBI, BATF, and National Guard. And their finances should be looked in to... anyone contributing money, food, supplies; should be charged with supporting terrorism.

54. Absolutely! If a bunch of Occupiers had the gall to set up a checkpoint anywhere in the country
all of that would have happened already. They would have been instantly labeled terrorists, and the FBI, BATF and National Guard would have already been deployed, and all the Occupiers would most likely be dead.
The double standard in this country sickens me, along with the arbitrary definition of who is or is not a "terrorist." It's a word that is rapidly losing whatever meaning it may once have had. |

86. Paladin, to some the Civil War was never over
All of these things we see are echoes of the Confederacy.
They have never been right with their defeat in the 1860s. And ever since they seek to subvert or damage the United States Government in any way they can. Internally and externally. They hate the Union & with the very symbol of why the Civil War was fought sitting at the head of office in Obama, they are emboldened more than ever before to strike out against the Union. Against the Unity. Against the United. This is what happens when you don't finish the job. The United States never finished cleaning up this Civil War mess & now the festering have developed molds & plagues that will continue to grow & evolve. They never finished off those traitors in the 1800s so they & their descendants built themselves up in the 1900s & 2000s until we have what we see here. They have ALWAYS been ready to restart that war. When Civil Rights advancements started moving forward in the 1940s & 1950s, you saw these Confederate descendants break from the New Deal Coalition & then put up the Confederate Battle Flag in their state flags as protests. You saw what they did in the 1960s before & after the Civil Rights Act & Voting Rights Act was put into place. They're still fighting that war. The Republican Party which was once the antagonists of the Confederates gave them the political structure to develop their plans. When the Democrats atoned for their evil past by doing right by the Blacks, the Republicans chose to cling to power by absorbing this zombie coalition into their body. The Confederates really don't care about the Republican Party or ANY party for that matter. They use the party to damage the Union & all the advancements in this society since the downfall of the Southern Plantation system. They're still in rebellion. Luckily, these guys are just as stupid as those immoral slaveowners of the past. There's just a lot of them, that's all. Takes time to see them go extinct. Confederacies don't work. America has tried it twice & it failed both times. There's gotta be a central command. An overpowering structure that protects against fiefdoms. That's why Unions beat Confederacies each & every time. A unified force will always beat a divided force. These toy soldiers are already exampling how you can't have too many roosters in a henhouse. The government backed off because they knew the infighting was inevitable. They'll move in once these guys destroy themselves. John Lucas |

The hypothetical example was a soldier not only deserting, but running toward enemy lines with the unit's radio codes. It was made very clear to us that shooting him would be a very wrong--and very illegal--response.
I wonder if this guy has ever been on a battlefield--and if so, how many battlefield desertions he witnessed. And how many deserters he shot in the back. ![]() |

30. That's what I thought of
In World War II, the Red Army was getting routed by the Nazis who had superior training and weaponry. Orders came down from the highest levels that losing was no longer acceptable. Win the battle or die where you stand. Survivors and soldiers taken prisoner found that dying would have been preferable to returning to their units, as they were suspected of being collaborators.
Needless to say, morale wasn't very high in the Red Army, and these armed nitwits in Nevada are heading toward a very bloody denouement. |

37. Yes, interesting contrast.
OWS was unarmed, peaceful, and legitimately exercising 1A rights. Yet the DOJ collaborated with local law enforcement in often violent shut-downs. And more than likely NSA was monitoring OWS communications.
OTOH, there is a group of armed militants who've openly stated their opposition to, and hostility towards, the Federal Govt. They have occupied Federal Land without permits, set up roadblocks on public highways, and repeatedly made threats of violence. Yet they're treated with kid gloves. WTF? |

Can you imagine having to pass through a checkpoint maned by these fine loons to get home?
Before the violence breaks out some form of action should be taken. General warrants for sedition and terrorism, freezing of assets, revoking licenses does not necessary involve violence. Much of their bravado no doubt comes from strength in (relatively few) numbers and a gunmetal colored extension of their manhood. Faced with real world Consequences at a one on one level, I suspect they would sing a different tune. No need to take armed action, no need to create martyrs, an arrest warrant lasts until it is resolved. At some time at least a few of these gang members may wish to resume a normal life. This is not something one wishes to see coming to their home town. |

This will make it easier for the ?Feds to identify the terrorists and round 'em up to face trial for their treason against their country, having declared, IN THE VIDEO, that they are at war with the duly authorized government of the United States of America.

To be in the REAL military.
I guess he fell into some kind of command position among Bundy's Rescue Rangers. He would have had to endure some kind of bullshit training if he'd tried to ACTUALLY serve. Who can blame him eh? |

59. Las Vegas Metro is kicking the ball around. They've made clear today they don't want to do anything
Metro Police say they investigating concerns a U.S. congressman raised about actions of militia members in northeast Clark County, but they’re not saying much more about the situation surrounding Bunkerville rancher Cliven Bundy and his armed supporters.
In a letter Sunday to Sheriff Doug Gillespie, Rep. Steve Horsford, D-Nev., wrote that his constituents were concerned about Bundy supporters carrying weapons near local churches, schools and elsewhere. Horsford, whose congressional district includes the area, also said militiamen had set up checkpoints on public roads and highways where drivers were stopped and asked to provide a proof of residency. Metro Police Sgt. Jesse Roybal said today the department had received Horsford’s letter, was aware of complaints and allegations and were “investigating each report. As of this time, there are no criminal charges in any of these cases.” Pressed further, Roybal said police were trying to verify Horsford’s claims but Roybal was not certain to what extent that investigation had gone. Roybal added the sheriff was "in contact with multiple people in elected office" regarding the matter. If someone does encounter the claimed checkpoints or people with guns near churches or schools, Roybal also said, "they need to report it to (Metro)." Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak, who sits on Metro's Fiscal Affairs Committee, said he hadn't heard anything from Metro about Horsford’s concerns. "I trust the sheriff to handle this," Sisolak added. http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2014/apr/29/metro/ |

63. Law enforcement also needs to also confer the message that these checkpoints are illegal...
and residents are by no means required to stop or show identification to anyone not officially involved in a law enforcement capacity.
It's a dangerous message to portray, however ot needs to be said... |

80. The history of mormon led massacres in the area repeats itself.
Ever heard of the Mountain Meadows Massacre?
Keep in mind this attack WAS carried out by those Bundy is trying to claim as his ancestors. "The Mountain Meadows massacre was a series of attacks on the Baker–Fancher emigrant wagon train at Mountain Meadows in southern Utah. The attacks culminated on September 11, 1857, with the mass slaughter of most in the emigrant party by members of the Utah Territorial Militia from the Iron County district, together with some Paiute Native Americans." Check it out on the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountain_Meadows_massacre People like the Bundys always play themselves as the victims of the Govt when in reality they are the aggressors. The cowardly racist angle of dressing as Native Americans while they slaughtered and pillaged the innocent wagon train is self explanatory. |
