The players protest against Clippers owner. He probably can't sleep at night.

The NBA is a business, these men are workers, in the end these workers performed for the racist owner, and his partner owners.

Wouldn't it be more powerful if these men refused to work for this business man and business?

Afraid of getting fired? Afraid of losing their jobs and replaced being with scabs?

Shame on the networks for covering the work product of this racist business man and his partner owners. Their viewership is probably higher because of this controversy. That means more money for the business.

Screw the NBA until they clean house. Sometimes dignity is more important that a paycheck.

There is nothing to say these guys have to make the business continue.

"I support them and give them food, and clothes, and cars, and houses. Who gives it to them? Does someone else give it to them? Do I know that I have—Who makes the game? Do I make the game, or do they make the game? Is there 30 owners, that created the league?"

Does sterling make the game, or do they make the game? They are working for him.

And I'm sure that even if he is bought out, he'll sleep just fine as well.

Owning a sports team is a prestige item, like owning some other piece of bling. A lot of sports franchises lose money anyway. They are primarily a tax write-off.

It's nice to think that people have some sort of sense of shame, but at his level there is simply no shame to be had.

He doesn't give a shit.

He's owned it for 20 years or so.

I'm mostly astounded at the men who think wearing black socks, their jerseys inside out, and throwing their clothes on the floor is sticking it to the man.
