We are Black. We are Women. We are Gay. We are People of Color.

And we damn well are magnificent!

We are strong and we are now all coming together. We are not splintered , we are not hiding, we are one. And we are damn well growing. Every damn day our numbers grow. It is no longer about one, it is about all of us.

We have a President out there. President Obama, he works for us every damn day to make our lives better.

He said it here

We, the people — recognize that we have responsibilities as well as rights; that our destinies are bound together; that a freedom which asks only, what's in it for me, a freedom without a commitment to others, a freedom without love or charity or duty or patriotism, is unworthy of our founding ideals, and those who died in their defense.

As citizens, we understand that America is not about what can be done for us. It's about what can be done by us, together through the hard and frustrating but necessary work of self-government.

Our destinies are bound together. We are bound by a commitment to others, to all. That is a fact! It is not about me and you it is us! Without this we will fail. We need to find our voice. One voice.

Our voice~
