My favorite Republican Congress moment, since they took over in 2011...

Many to chose from, but this one is so deep, in addition to being side-splitting-ly funny.

The very first time they held a vote to repeal Obamacare they found that they were not allowed to do so under regular rules because there are special rules and requirements for bills that would add to the deficit.

See, the thing is, Obamacare reduces the defecit... so if you want to repeal it you have to find a way to pay for that, or set aside certain rules.

The consternation on knitted tea-party brows was delightful.

Oddly enough, they never did identify which taxes they were going to raise to fund repealing Obamacare. IIRC, they just set the rule aside.
