Millions still smoking, but not cigarettes...

Yes, it is that time of year again. One I think would be handles if a national sales tax was in place for the 99%ers and those making over say $100,000 had to file due to amount made. Just my 2 cents....

It could be adjusted depending on "bills" each year. It just would make life so much easier. I have to write a check to the IRS on April 15th and I already paid them over 6K through deductions. I love the less than 100K thing too. I would fit that scenario. The only thing is if you file joint most people are in the 100K predicament. I file single and not even close to 100K.

I know I'm not the only one thinking about it. Some people way better with figures are too. I truly believe that someday it will come.

pay a far greater percentage of their income in sales tax because they spend most of their income on living. My State has no sales tax for that reason, and recently we hiked the tax rates for top tier earners instead. Also, for what it's worth, a hundred grand still counts in the 99%. Takes about 344,000 to hit the top 1%.

But I know that people that do have the know how is thinking about it somewhere. They will get the math right and stop making April 15th. less terrifying.
