The greater good -
My friend eats vegan. Up front, vocal and clear that it's an ethical choice for her.
And she donates a bit of money to local food pantries. One is vegetarian, the rest run the gamut. Knows that some of her donations will go to animal based proteins - cheese, ground beef, ground turkey, etc.
And she's OK with that. Is equally as clear that her ethical standard doesn't trump the greater good. I admire her balance. And there's a lesson there.
