(93,062 posts)daily dose of awesome until I can get out to where the nests are in my neck of the woods, lakes are still frozen here and the migrants haven't come back yet, but they will be soon.
Love to watch this, have been for years.
So K&R for exposure... there seem to be an average of about 20K viewers during the day. And the hatchlings are sooo cute and fuzzy. Amazing that they will be close to full grown by mid June and venturing out of the nest by then.

(32,229 posts)and I'm so thankful that I've seen the last 6th hatchlings.....last year, two of the three eaglets died....so sad. So here's to hoping all these eaglets stay alive for all of us to enjoy.
I wasn't able to watch last season and didn't know that two didn't make it. That is sad. I did know that this is their second nest, though. I was alerted to this pair about four years ago. I've watched others but fo some reason, this pair is what gets my attention, until I can visit the five nests near me. I don't get to see as much in the local nests so this is truly addictive, could spend all day watching it every day if I could get away with it!
Until I saw this eagle camera, I never saw an eagle sleep, or an eagle egg hatch or see eaglets that small,... I usually have to wait until they start getting up on the platform and start flying. Such a treat.
