Cons on another message board are saying 6 million have LOST their health insurance due to Obamacare. Is this true?

(68,644 posts)Insurance companies are far more powerful than that.
They have all the wealth and all the power and any policy that was cancelled was cancelled by THEM.
Now how is that the fault of anyone except for the Insurance Company?

(468 posts)Let's indulge them and accept their talking point as truthful:
That's STILL a net gain of 1 million . . . AND COUNTING.
That's not even including the Medicare expansion.
That's not even including the expansion for people under 26 who have gained coverage.
At this very moment - even IF their bogus claim were true - we'd be at probably a net gain of around, what, 6 million? 7 million?
The fact is that the total expansion of those who are covered by some form of insurance is into the teens (I'm sure someone on here has the exact number).
Tell them to put that in their pipes and smoke it.

(82,383 posts)Their plan was so shitty, it does not meet ACA standards.
All they have to do is go to healthcare.gov and sign up - for real coverage.
Instead of being mad about ACA, they should be pissed at the insurance company that had for taking their money for non-coverage.
