18 reasons why Newt Gingrich will never become the nominee - by New Gingrich

18 Newt Gingrich quotes that will disqualify him from ever being President.

http://www.sodahead.com/united-states/18-newt-gingrich-quotes-that-disqualify-him-from-ever-being-president/question-2305873/

This one quote will cost him Florida and a bunch of ther states:

Social Security "get rid of it (by letting it) wither on the vine"

ďNow, we donít get rid of it in round one because we donít think that thatís politically smart, and we donít think thatís the right way to go through a transition. But we believe itís going to wither on the vine because we think people are voluntarily going to leave it ó voluntarily.

or then there are these

12 ďShe isnít young enough or pretty enough to be the Presidentís wife.Ē
~Newt Gingrich, talking about his first wife after divorcing her.

13. ďI read Men Who Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them and I found frightening pieces that related toÖmy own life.Ē

~Newt Gingrich, talking about his problems with women.

Recall what the audiences at the Republican debates are cheering..

4. Evangelicals will not take to his wife dumping comments

Its one thing to be forgiven for his 'sin' but once that part of his calculus was that she wouldn't be a good first lady, etc is something else.

There's enough stuff here to insult everyone.

8. I don't think Gingrich is electable.

But I don't think those quotes will defeat him.

Good to see you back, cousin.

9. Never become the nominee... or the President?

Two different things... these quotes might prevent him from becoming president, but they might HELP him win the nomination.

Newt might become the "last crazy standing".

13. And here is the No. 1 Reason he will be Nominated - Who in hell else have they got?

You can't make a person run for President, they have to want to run for the post themselves. And among the ones who have put themselves in the running just who is a better choice than Newt? Bachmann? Ron Paul? Rick Perry? Those are three absolute jokes, and then what? Huntsman is the only one with a brain between them and he has been soundly ignored by everyone in the Party. Then what, Romney? You know what kills him? He's not a Christian in the eyes of Republican Christians and he's not a Republican in the eyes of all the Republicans who aren't born-again evangelicals. So who else they got? Jeb is a fool not to jump in, he could trounce Obama, Christie probably could too. You know why that is? Every day Occupy holds the streets more and more people are thinking maybe this time they 'won't be fooled again'. If that's the case then everyone who's up for election better look out, and that includes the President.

It will be Newt and there will be so fucking much money behind him that it will be more like the second coming than a Presidential election and that massive amount of money will buy votes aplenty - it always has and it always will - and not one of the nasty things you've found that Newt said will find much of the public's ear. You think anyone is going to play fair on this one? You think the next election is about truth and justice? Get real. Newt is the perfect whore and he will the the whore that takes the money this time around. Bet on it. But don't bet that he won't win. As the man said, no one every went broke betting on the stupidity of the American people.

14. There are a number of Governors that they can dust off and have ready for the convention.

Governors are the candidates and President almost all of the time.

Carter
Reagan
Bush (2)

Since 1976 5 out of the 7 terms have been Governors.

When was the last time somebody that didn't have an elective office as a candidate become elected?

When was the last time someone from the House was elected?

When was the last time someone who was Speaker and has a million controversial positions was elected?

In the last 4 weeks there have been 2 flashes in the pan.

Its going to be Perry.

Its going to be Cain

Now its going to be the mercuial unstable in American Politics over the last 20 years.

Don't thinks so but I am willing to be $ 10 k about it lol.

The system is changed and with 27 proportional primaries it is almost impossible for anyone to get 51% of the delegates before the convention if there are more than 2 active candidates.

15. Just like Donald Trump, I don' t believe that Newt was ever expecting to win

the Primary. The only reason (IMO) that these parasites are here is for the plebiscite.

16. You forgot one: "People like me are what stand between us and Auschwitz."

And another one:

"I don't want my country to collapse. I don't want my daughter and wife raped and killed. I don't want to see my neighborhood destroyed."

And:

"We are at the edge of losing this civilization. You get two more generations of what we had for the last 20 years and we're in desperate trouble... As long as I believe that's true, I'll keep trying to recruit another generation and train another generation so that when I'm too tired to keep doing this, they'll be ready to step in."
