Are you listening Democratic member of both Houses of Congress
http://theweek.com/article/index/258728/speedreads-americans-may-finally-be-coming-around-on-obamacare-no-for-real-this-time
Democratic House and Senate members had better take this and run with it. They need to start running ads with this type of stuff NOW. They can't afford to wait until two months before the 2014 election, because the Koch Brothers lies will have already taken hold and be set in stone. Americans may finally be coming around on ObamaCare. No, for real this time. With only days to go before the end-of-month deadline to obtain health insurance or face a fine, a new poll from the Kaiser Family Foundation finds that Republican calls to overturn the law may be wearing thin. In the survey, only 18 percent of respondents favored repealing the law wholesale, while 11 percent supported repealing it and replacing it with a Republican alternative. Combined, that's a paltry 29 percent who wanted to repeal the law in some form. Meanwhile, 49 percent wanted to keep and improve the law, while another 10 percent said it was good as is — good for a total of 59 percent.

1. The favorables will continue to go up.
No matter how flawed the plan is, it's still better than what people had before. People are more likely to believe what their neighbors and relatives tell the, and what they themselves experience, than they are to accept Koch Bros. propaganda that flies in the face of the common experience.
Or at least I hope so. The deeply committed haters are beyond persuasion; mounting evidence that the ACA is working will only drive them to double down on their denial. Fortunately, only about 30% of the public is in that category. The same irrational 30% that we always have to contend with. |

2. Remember this
this is what happens when you PRIVATIZE things. Just get the contract and the maintenance agreement. Same old story of garbage in and garbage out. As a result of ACA,we are on our way to single payer. Nobody is addressing the issues about all of the Rethug denial of service attacks that are launch daily at ACA web sites.
Lets get real ACA is here to stay and it is only going to improve. |
