Steve had given up the race already with the graveyard site. If I had happened onto that site by any other means than DU suggestion I would have left assuming the worst. You might want to pass that along to Steve. It could just be me, though. I'll admit I'm weird that way.

I assume you are referring to the site which I will not post here that those repressionist bastardolts have pushed trying to jig the google rankings. If I were Steve, I wouldn't be caving (pun intended) to those freaks one way or the other. I'd concentrate and stay on message, walk the beats and go door to door, and explain to all of his future constituents how to promote a progressive policy in town. I would talk to everyone and basically just tell them one on one what's wrong with Houghtaling, the republicanist crap he's pulled on the workers of Bellevue, and more importantly, the great progress that Steve will bring to the ticket.

I've been involved in local politics, and something like clicking links aren't the only thing that helps. Hitting the phone banks and walking the beat is imperative and means more than 90% of everything else that can be done, including tv, radio, and print. Finally, keep pounding away at the legality of the republican Party. THAT works better than virtually everything else. You don't change the diehards, but you sure as hell bring a lot to your side of the fence.
