Rick Santorum to visit Dallas with hat in hand

http://trailblazersblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2012/03/rick-santorum-to-visit-dallas.html

Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum is scheduled to visit Dallas Thursday for yet another fund-raising event. He's dropping by the home of Lynne and Tom Schott for an evening geared toward low-dollar donors.

You can get a ticket to the main reception for $125. A ticket to the reception and special recognition cost $250. That's well below the federal campaign limit of $2,500 a person.

Santorum, the former Pennsylvania senator, is also in San Antonio Thursday to address the USAA. That agency provides insurance and financial services to veterans.

Santorum is trying to get past former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney for the GOP presidential nomination.

Some comments:

"Only $125 to see the world's most venomous reptile? What a midway side show deal!"

"If I can prove that I'm a sexist, egotistcal, lying, hypocritical bigot; can I get a discounted ticket?"

"If you wait a few months, you will be able to see him for free at the grand opening of the Catholic adoption centers that will be created to handle the placement of all those unplanned and unwanted babies who will come into existence in accordance with his ideas of contraception and family planning."

See- not ALL Texans are stupid.

It's an association like AARP - with financial, banking and insurance entities. The article implies that's it's some arm of the government.
