They are saying something with the hope that they will goad someone better than them to reply, and thus waste their time. It's horrifying to think that Alaska elected, as governor, someone who's only proven talent is trolling (hell, she even trolled her own party's nomination process last year). Just as well she resigned when she realised she really wasn't up to the job.

I don't think Bristol really thinks Obama would reply or give her a call. I think the intent of that blog post was to show that Obama's call to Fluke was purely political in nature, since Fluke was attacked by a well-known conservative and represents a Democratic-friendly constituency (unmarried women) and a Democratic-friendly issue (contraception).

I think her point was that she shouldn't hold her breath for a call from the president since she was a attacked by a liberal who also happened to give $1 million to Obama's super pac. And she does have a point, if not entirely for the reasons that she thinks she does. If Fluke gets a call and Bristol doesn't, it does lend weight to the argument that Obama's intention is not to be a gallant crusader for maligned women everywhere, but to make political hay out of such stories when he can.

The thing is, the president just can't go around getting personally involved in every flap out there - if he did, he wouldn't have time for other matters such as, you know, running the country. When the president does decide to do such a thing, he has to be able to gain from it. This was a lesson he learned with the Gates/Crowley flap, where he realized that it's not worth it to get involved in a minor affair unless clear political gain is possible. He's the president and just about everything he does has a political angle to it, especially when he's still in his first term and has to worry about re-election. That's just a fact of life for any president.

She misquotes it slightly in her 'open letter' (not "‘fucked so hard a baby fell out"; it was "Bristol Palin has to admit that the reason she fucked Levi over and over until a baby fell out is because she liked it&quot .

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/bill-maher-bristol-palin-baby/

Yes, it's rude; but Fluke never even discussed her own sex life, while Bristol Palin wrote a book about it, seeking to get publicity and make money off it.

I doubt she even read it. Heck, the inaugural post on Bristol's blog was signed by Nancy French (the ghostwriter for B's book) when it first went up.

From Immoral Minority:

Update: Okay I am not sure how I missed it the first time but yes the blog IS being written by Nancy French, who is doing HER part to keep up the illusion by signing each post. Okay now THAT is just pathetic!

Update 2: Okay I swear to the God "that I don't actually believe in" that a few minutes ago those posts on Bristol's blog were signed by Nancy French, But now they both say "Bristol Palin."

Oh yeah they NEVER read this blog now do they? LOL!

Update 3: This just keeps getting better and better.

In answer to the question about why the posts used to have Nancy French's name before the fixed it:

Hey — that was my fault! I’m supposed to be helping Bristol with the technology part of all this, so I entered the posts that she sent me under the wrong name.

Sorry for the confusion!

Nancy

Oh yeah, I buy that!

is suppose to be an adult and her mother being an adult you would think they would have left this stage behind. But Crazy Sarah just can't and won't let it go. She is a vengeful person. She can't help it. They say she keeps going til she gets her revenge. It doesn't matter that she puts herself above the country. She wants her revenge against the black guy. I am telling you this woman thinks she is going to be the nominee for president. She is delusional. But don't underestimate her. If you do you'll be surprised.
