Herman Cain To Hit NY County GOP Spring Fling

"I met him a few times and he's very personable, he's funny, he's refreshing. It's going to be a lot of fun," Chairman Dan Isaacs told me.
Cain, Isaacs said, is "a great ambassador for what it means to be a Republican" and one who's capable of speaking on the economic issues so important to party members as "a self-made guy" who built a successful business.
What's more, Isaacs said, "I think his appearance dovetails nicely with our attempts to reach out to the minority community, because we're a big tent here."
Cain suspended his campaign in early December, soon after becoming embroiled in a controversy involving accusations of sexual harrassment.
