(2,419 posts)places in the state with a distinct resemblance to Hooterville. Hunterdon County is one of them . That's where my wife is from. Beautiful place but still home to some serious rednecks. Although it is now one of the top 10 wealthiest counties in the nation (#7 if I recall correctly)

(2,419 posts)I didn't see this last night. I've met that guy Russo before when I adopted a cat about 30 years ago. He was talking about being an armed law enforcement officer for the SPCA in a very disturbing manner back then. He is scary crazy. Warren County, where he came from is really a backwards place. That's the center of Tea Party activity here in the Garden State. If I could find the video of one of their state senators testifying against environmental regulations because its possible to urinate in a hole and drink it after its been filtered by soil for a couple of minutes I'll post it.
