Nicole Wallace on MJ describing how awful it was for her during the Plame leak...

and how she can feel the pain of staffers around McDonnell and Christie...how it sucks out all their "cosmic energy" and is expensive to defend themselves because you don't make that much money in government jobs.

Gee, Nicole, seems to me that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime...just sayin"...(and I'm being polite here...you don't wanna know what I actually said to the TV set this morning...)

1. So she's admitting the Plame leak is as indicative of Bush-Cheney criminality as Christie's actions?

That's quite a revelation.

2. Maybe inadvertently, yes. But she was trying to paint a sympathetic picture of those poor staffers

and what they have to go through when subpoened in a federal court case...

then Joe got on his high horse and started holding forth about how terrible that Plame investigation was and Patrick Fitzgerald was a bad person, yadda, yadda...

I remember listening to Al Franken's radio show back when that case was going on and how he talked about "Fitzmas." It was lovely...

that something is very wrong and it is happening now rather than waiting until they have to lawyer up when they become part of the legal process?

The fact that she was so blasee about it makes me want to throw up...that leak ruined a woman's career and put her and her husband into real financial difficulty and even some physical danger. Nicole should just STFU about how she, Nicole, suffered and think about her boss's victims...

When Dick Cheney released the information to the Late Robert Novak he immediately destroyed a CIA front company that had been existence for over 30 years. to date the CIA has never said and will never say just how much damage it did to their networks around the world. Brewster Jennings had offices all over the world. Dick Cheney committed treason and he got away with it. I am so tired of people like Joe Scarborough defending the illegal acts of the former Vice President.
