Joe S. this morning on Morning Joe discussing income inequality sounded like President Obama

I didn't see where anyone else had brought this up today, although I did see the other Morning Joe conversation about the Christie mess. But I was astonished to hear Joe S. bashing millionnaires and billionnaires in this country who don't pay their fair share of taxes and those who hide their money offshore. He said those who hide their money offshore should take it and get the heck out of here. He then said that every Republican group he talks to thinks that its wrong for millionaires and billionaires to pay 14-17% in taxes while their secretary pays 30%. He then corrected himself and said, except when he's in a room full of hedgefund managers.

I wondered aloud, "who does Joe S. think he is Barack Obama? Warren Buffet? " Funny I don't remember him having the President's back during the last campaign when the President was talking about this very issue. As a matter of fact, they accused the President of trying to divide the country.

Mark Halprin made the comment that if Mike Huckabee decides to run for president in 2016, he will run on this issue.

Joe's diatribe begins at the 4:30 mark on this video.

1. Joe is trying to save his butt in some way after his years of Christie worship

and Mika should watch out for her job too.

2. Scarborough talks out of both sides of his mouth to cover his ass

So, for example, when he's later criticized about something like his support for GWB, he can point to a few brief statements and claim, "I was as critical of GWB as anybody."

5. Exactly...

When I heard him this morning I couldn't believe my ears. I said who in the hell do you think you're fooling you lying bastard. I was waiting to hear Nicole Wallace's response because, she laughs at the unemployed, poor or anyone in distress. Then Halperin chimed in as though he was concerned also along with Barnicle who seems to be only worried about his relatives dipping into his pockets.

They sit their day after day and rag on those on hard times and then try to pretend that they give a damn when every since day one of the Obama Presidency they have talked down any and everything that could have helped. I can't wait to see what they pull out of their bag of tricks tomorrow. There is no hope for Mika she is so out of the loop they usually just laugh in her face and she doesn't even realize it.

6. I'm convinced the whole thing is pretty much scropted for most of them

Joe and the producers decide, and Mika is allowed her "pet" projects, like nutrition, and she's allowed free rein to push back hard when Joe mocks her there.

I quit watching 2-3 years ago and only tune in for a guest I want to see or when I get a heads-up here on something going on.

More than anything, I'm turned off by Joe's acidic tone.

3. Did you also see where Joe said

since Obama became President the income gap has widened so it is not a partisan problem it is a cultural problem? he failed to mention that the Republicans in congress have held up any efforts by Obama to change this condition.
Mika is the one that has disappointed me. She just kowtows to Joe.

4. I heard that, too. He can smell which way the wind is blowing, and doesn't want to seem

as greedy and selfsh as his party really is.

Camouflage. Totally. Nt buying it.

Mybe he figures, with Chrispy gone, he'll make a run for the oval office. Stranger things have happened.
