The other 3 from NJ are Corzine (1) and McGreevy (2).

The NY appointees are mostly Cuomo's.

The toll hikes were set in 2011, and they are largely a tax on NJ commuters to do uneconomic projects like rebuilding the World Trade Center.

but tolls on the NJ Turnpike and Garden State Parkway went up after former Democratic Governor Jon Corzine adopted an increase in tolls in conjunction with the NJ Turnpike Authority in October, 2008.

Plenty to blame Christie for, but we don't need to invent things out of thin air.

temporary subpoena power was to investigate recent toll jumps by the Port Authority.

That is the only reason they could get Wildstein before them and it was schedule to time out this past Tuesday at the end of the session. It was decided by the senate leader (a Dem but ally of Christie) to renew the power.

the lower Hudson River crossings are set by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The Governor of either state has little to say about the matter.

Ahhh, maybe this whole Port Authority thing needs to be looked into.

It'a a FUCKING $100 cash to cross with a big rig.

But ONLY $90 to cross with EasyPass....

How much was Baroni and Wildstein making? I guess the $$$ has to come from somewhere.

he doubled the tolls on the NJ Tpk too. From NY to DC it costs around 36.00 in tolls. Its almost like they don't want us to travel from home.
