Schadenfreude (n): The emotion felt by Kony 2012 skeptics watching this video:

TMZ has footage of "Kony 2012" honcho Jason Russell in the midst of his naked meltdown in San Diego ... pounding his fists in anger and screaming maniacally.

As we previously reported, Russell was detained by police yesterday ... after witnesses say he was running around naked and making sexual gestures.

Russell was held on a 5150 psychiatric hold ... so authorities can decide if he poses a danger to himself or others.

A rep for Invisible Children says Russell was suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and malnutrition as a result of a strenuous PR campaign.

tox test for sure. And a few prescription drugs under the right conditions can do that too.

A Limbaugh-esque tool who tried to assuage his conscience a little too quickly....

PCP could be one... but there are a few other drugs, including a few prescription sleep meds that can do that.

He was given a tox, that is for sure... and they will hold him against his will for a psych. If they find more than enough cause they will be seeing a judge to extend it.

Here an article on what I mean by sleeping pills

I have a definite stereotype of PCP users and he does not fit the stereotype.

I think this was more than a mental meltdown.. i watched the video and it looks like a drug-induced losss of control. Maybe he has been under stress, exhausted etc...but unless this guy has a history of mental illness and there are documented incidents of breakdowns if he was off his meds etc, I am thinking more along the lines that he might smoke pot and it was laced with something like PCP. But I really think he may have been set up.
