I don't understand why it's an issue. There is plenty to pick on without resorting to commenting on his weight.

but there is some truth in what you say...that's how a lot of society and media portrays fat people. Jolly/comedian or bully/evil.

Those who use fat-shaming against Christie are, at least unconsciously, equating ALL fat people with Christie.

And that's just as bad as it would be to use imply that all Canadians are like Ted Cruz.

A Republican bully does not have to be fat. They come in all sizes. Being thin wouldn't improve right wingers and other Republicans in the least.

And we don't have any reason to reject fat liberals. The more liberals, the better, so let's not create categories of people to antagonize.
