I can see it happening...people shovel out parking spaces, put chairs there and God help anyone who tries to poach. I understand anger, believe me, but killing or getting killed over this stuff...well, even though the Eagles lost, it just ain't worth it.

If you shovel out a spot, you own it. If you don't shovel out the spot but place a chair in the spot anyway, in the dumpster it goes. IMO

by the economy, the low wages, the struggle to survive, the fear of climate change and the general sense of powerlessness.

Those with emotional/behavioral problems react by acting out, sometimes with horrible consequences.

One year Menino sent trash crews to throw away the chairs and milk crates. People were outraged.

It wasn't pretty. She lost her job as a teacher as a result of her behavior.
