" 2013 was a year of amazing stupidity, and this writer is glad its death is nigh. One of the dumbest things of this dumb year was the notion that White America was under attack (along with Christian America). Never mind that white Christians are in control of American government, business and media, have been for some time, and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Here is some Cranky History: the family has been here since at least 1774. That means we were here when most of the land was being stolen from the original inhabitants. White Americans raping, killing, stealing, and committing genocide against the legitimate owners of this country. And even if my ancestors did not commit any of these atrocities with their own hands, they certainly benefited from them. As all white Americans do to this day.

Some of my ancestors lived in border states during the Civil War, which was when White Americans killed Americans of all colors in order to keep the right to rape, enslave, torture and murder their slaves. And even if my ancestors did not commit any of these atrocities with their own hands, they certainly benefited from them. As all white Americans do to this day.

Today, America is becoming a majority minority nation: that means that White America will become less powerful and eventually have to suck it up and be equal with the others we have been raping, killing and stealing from for all these years. Not superior to them, but equal to them. You know, like the Constitution says.

And speaking as a White American who can lay claim to the dubious honor of being a direct descendant of the original White Americans, that is a very good thing. Because looking at our conduct over the centuries, we really shouldn’t be in charge of much of anything. Unless you LIKE rape, genocide, thievery, murder, torture, and general crimes against humanity.

If you support the idea of White America, you support those crimes. And on behalf of myself and my part-Shawnee spouse (there, friends, is an example of spiritual awesomeness), f*** anybody and everybody who is in favor of White Supremacy, or any other skin-color-based horses*** like that. "

...or is it really about power and it's misuse over human beings? An interesting study was done on the social ordering of a dysfunctional baboon colony in the wilds of Africa that was dominated by Alpha type baboon males.

The Alphas made life hell in the colony, full of violence, rape, and infanticide as the Alphas did their social Darwin thing trying to implant their Alpha genes into the colony's genetic legacy by rape and murder.

Then one day something happened, the Alpha males discovered some raw meat. They consumed it and in typical Alpha male fashion, took all of it for themselves.

Because, if memory serves, this is when two of my own white great-great-grandfathers fought and died, (and perhaps killed) along with their brothers and cousins - in order to fucking END slavery.

Yeah, if you read history, the US government actually did a lot of purchasing.

You don't see that with a lot of other countries. When Germany defeated France in 1870, they annexed Alsace and Lorraine and they made France pay them. When France defeated Germany in 1918 (with a lot of American and British help) they took Alsace and Lorraine back and made Germany pay.

Yet when the US defeated Mexico and took the Southwest United states, WE paid Mexico.

But that's all white people taking land. Let's look at what Dee Brown wrote in "Bury My heart at Wounded Knee". Think of how the US has tried to pay the "legitimate owners" of South Dakota.

"Although the Sioux were hereditary enemies of the Crows and had
driven them from their rich hunting grounds," (BMH p. 133)

"South of the Kansas-Nebraska buffalo ranges were the Kiowas. Some of the older Kiowas could remember the Black Hills, but the tribe had been pushed southward before the combined power of Sioux, Cheyenne, and Arapaho. By 1860 the Kiowas had made peace with the northern plains tribes and had become allies of the Comanches, whose southern plains they had entered." (BMHWK pp 10-11)


Wait, what is that? The Sioux, apparently STOLE (and perhaps did some killing and even raping in the process) land from the Crows and Kiowas. The "legitimate owners" of South Dakota. And I am guessing that the Sioux never paid a dime.

Oh, and I stumbled across this in my notes.

"In 1692 a Shawnee raid to capture slaves for trade with the English destroyed a major Cherokee village while its warriors were absent on a winter hunt. While both tribes still had common enemies (Iroquois, Catawba, and Chickasaw), this treachery destroyed any trust or friendship that had existed between the Cherokee and Shawnee. The following year a Cherokee delegation visited Charlestown demanding more firearms to fight their enemies. However, in spite of the huge numbers of Native Americans who died from disease and in various conflicts (and many who were starved or slaughtered) the number of people in the United States who claim Indian ancestry is probably now greater than the original Indian population of the United States.

I say probably, because all we have are various estimates but two books I have read. One of them says this "The 1982 census recorded 1,364,033 Native Americans, 42,162 Eskimos, and 14,205 Aleuts. Those claiming to be at least part Indian numbered over 5 million." (Indians p 383) And the following book, estimates the original population at about 5-6 million. "American Indian Holocaust and Survival, a population history since 1492"
by Russell Thornton 1987 University of Oklahoma press

In fact, the graph on page xvii of that book shows a population of 5 million in 1492 which had dropped to 3 million by 1600 and below 2 million in 1700 and below 1 million by 1750. If that graph is accurate, then over 80% of the deaths happened BEFORE 1750.

You know, before many of our ancestors were even here.

And, ot may be some time longer than the author thinks before we see equal, though, because it's in the mind, not just the numbers. People of color have just as much of a problem with that one as white folk do - just ask Malcom X or Harriet Tubman. (I know, but you get the idea). That is much harder to change.

sooner or later, everything comes down to race in America. Never mind that the overwhelming majority of whites and minorities are Christians, or that most Christians are not racists or white supremacists, or that the overwhelming majority of poor people are white. Someone always wants to divide and conquer the common people using race. That makes perfect sense to me as a tactic employed by the rich to control everyone else, but for ordinary people to do the rich man's work for him is sad. At the turn of the next century, the white population will still be 41%, which will be more than twice the size of any other group. Since neither whites nor non-whites comprise homogeneous cultural or ethnic groups in the US, it might be a better idea to define America and American history more in terms of class than race. The former is a socio-economic reality. The latter is a biological myth.
