The only people that believe the drop are people who desperately WANT to believe in it, and probably most of them deep down know that it's contrived.

(37,540 posts)If so, that accounts for almost all of the delta. Not like the media has a vested interest in another "horse race", though. The "country is evenly split" narrative might be great for the media...but it sucks for trying to actually make progress in this country.

(25,415 posts)I think Obama has been effected by gay prices, but more by 2 to 3%. Not the 9% drop CBS polled. I wouldn't read to much into it. Polls at this point are just too early to really mean much.
