Yes.. Another "Game Change" movie thread.

Did anyone find it interesting how often the campaign watched the cable news shows?

Did anyone find it interesting how often the campaign relied on the same polling information frequently posted on websites like this?

For some reason, I always held the belief that for some of this stuff, the campaigns always knew more than we did. But in reality the information the McCain campaign had was no different than the info me and many others were posting here on DU everyday. That was surprising.

Just another take to what was a fantastic movie. Very educational.

Steve Schmidts scolding of Sarah Palin on the importance of the concession speech on the night of the election was another classic "take home" moment for a movie that had plenty of great scenes.

It was their own damn fault they let it get so out of hand. I hated them for that, too.

Outstanding movie. I almost...ALMOST felt sorry for Sarah until she began morphing into a monster. And you have to have some respect for. McCain for refusing to tap into the hate of the base. Thank God she never got near the nuclear football...

...for my booze fueled rampage on the HB 347 thread. Glad you didn't ignore me. It was just that I remembered the dog kennels designated as "free speech" zones at the rethug convention and democratic too. I just got my first call from Obama headquarters asking me to volunteer again. Things are going to get hot come summer. Occupy just about guarantees it.

From "anti-wall street" to "Republicans want to take womens rights away." It's a distraction in all ways possible, I hope that Occupy manages to push the ant-wall street narrative, harder than ever before. At least we have an entire summer for Occupy to fix the narrative, but I only hope it's enough. Not to downplay women rights, but in the end this, I believe, is the Republican agenda. Attacking womens rights has been an attempt to distract from Wall Street. Forgive me, highly, if I am wrong. Wall Street is equally hated by both women and men alike, by going after womens rights it feels like a true attempt to distract from Wall Street. Just my humble opinion.

For what it's worth, I think OWS will succeed, I just am concerned whether they are able to recognize what is happening. That may not be necessary, as all they have to do is keep doing what they're doing. We will see.

Thanks for the thoughtful response.

Occupy turned the national discourse from "the deficit" to economic disparity. The pubs are trying to make it about the culture war again. Occupy has their work cut out for them.

"You haven't told him?"

"He doesn't know! He doesn't want to know!"

I think that's accurate. Totally accurate.
