The GOP believes it can brainwash a new generation of people while all the former New Deal supports bite the dust.

Did you see that segment on Bill Maher last night interviewing people in Mississippi who still hate black people and glorify the confederacy? Some of them weren't old.

For making us once again look like a bunch of ignorant hicks and racists...

Haley Barbour and the fact that we have some of the worst statistics in regards to education, obesity and economics are bad enough.

Now we have dimwits showing off their idiocy.

I did.

Bush jr. was the turning point for me. Because of Bush jr., my political views took a hard left. FOX news started to become unbelievable. Then the Tea Party vision drove me further left. #Occupy captivated me and the light bulb came on. The last six months have driven me extremely left. I wasn't a Republican, but considered myself independent. A moderate.

In the end you can thank Bush for opening my eyes. Events since have strongly influenced me. Credit #Occupy for "sealing the deal". The current conservative path is insane. Hell, the agenda is even driving George Will to the left.

Before him, I tended to not necessarily ignore politics, but I got most of my information from the MSM.

After seeing how they ginned up the road to the war, I started to become suspicious. That's when I started researching things on the internet for myself. Let's just say that what I found forever poisoned my faith in the MSM, and the GOP.

The GOP as it is now is unforgivably hateful. I can't think of a reason why the LGBT community, women, African Americans, Latino Americans, teachers, union members, and just about anyone else that isn't a rich, white Christian male would vote for them, and I'm sure there are plenty of rich Christian males that wouldn't vote for them in their current state, either, because they are so foul.

I have been a liberal since I first voted, which was for JFK. I may be getting old, but I will never be grey as long as hair color is available.

And I'm grey, so I won't be here to fight them.
