Anti-war protestors blast US warmongering policies on Iran
Anti-war demonstrators have held a protest rally in New York City against the US policy of aggression and threats on the Islamic Republic of Iran, Press TV reports.
“We are really here representing those who say no war with Iran and that Iran has every right to development of nuclear energy,” human rights activist Sara Flounders told Press TV.
She criticized Washington’s warmongering policies and said the US government was “trying to continue its policy of endless wars” throughout the world.
Other participants in the rally also condemned the US and Israeli warmongering policies in the Middle East, describing threats against other countries, including Iran, as outright aggression.
The United States, Israel, and some of their allies accuse Iran of pursuing military objectives in its nuclear energy program, with Washington and Tel Aviv using this pretext to threaten Iran with a military option.
