Gruntled Old Man's Super Tuesday Predictions, You Darn Kids!

Much as I'd like to see the Gross, Odious Plutocratic party suffer ever longer, I think Romney basically wraps it tomorrow: He'll win Ohio by close to double digits, as well as taking the states he's "supposed" to win, i.e., Massachusetts, Vermont, North Dakota and Idaho. But I also think he'll win Tennessee, which heretofore has been a Santorum state. In fact, I project Ricky will be victorious in one state, Oklahoma, and that by maybe 5%.

Gingrich wins Georgia, and I'm taking a leap in saying Paul will win in Alaska. (Hey, they elected Sarah Palin: Nuff said.)

On Wednesday I will kick this post, regardless of the actual results. In the meantime, get off my lawn!

he is the only one who has campaigned there and it's near Iowa and Minnesota--areas he has shown strength.

I was right about Ohio's result but not the margin. I also called GA, MA, ID & VT correctly, but they were the easy ones. I was wrong on Tennessee, Alaska and North Dakota. The only state I pretty much nailed was Oklahoma, where Santorum won by 5.8%. Obviously, though, that wasn't the only state Ricky won.

I'd give myself a C plus, maybe a B minus.
