Not one person, save the little economist dude, even attempted to question anything Grover spewed. For instance, he repeatedly pointed to how rosy things were under Reagan (not Clinton, though), and how much greater job growth was, yet no one felt compelled to point out that the economy wasn't nearly as bad, taxes were higher, and Reagan raised taxes five times! Norquist was essentially give five minutes of free air time to lie through his teeth and hawk his worthless piece of shit book. Norquist's philosophy can be summed up in one simple sentence: "I'm very wealthy, and I don't want to have to pay for anything." He's got his, he doesn't give a flying fuck about anybody but Grover.

You can tell just by listening to him/looking at him that this is a very lonely man. I sense he is just getting back at all the kids that beat him up in junior high and towel-snapped him and called him "shrinky dink!" in the shower after gym class.
