And my friends that live over the bridge find him refreshing - a nice change. He would never get elected in rural Georgia.

Obama's 2012 election proved that you don't need the South to put together a governing coalition.

Hell, LINCOLN'S election in 1860 proved that, but people keep forgetting that fact.

I spent 30 years of my life in Rochester NY . . . attended University in Buffalo NY and lived there a few years . . .

I don't know if he could win up there either.

And we might not need Georgia - but we would need Pennsatucky, Central Ohio (scary experiences there :chuckle , Michigan . . . We've got the same 'mentality' in the North East to contend with.

As we used to say in the 90's while in Buff/Niagara Falls - We are different out west.

Enough votes in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia will deliver PA. The same can be said about Ohio and New York. Energize the liberals in the cities and they'll carry those states.

Hell, we don't even need OHIO if we can carry Florida. The Northeast, West Coast, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, and Florida deliver 275 votes. Win Ohio and Nevada and you can lose Florida and get to 270.

You saw the nail biting situation for voting in the Greater Philly and Pittsburgh area - but more so Philly. It's just over the border in PA where I took folks to the polls in 2008 and 2012 - since NJ is always a sure thing (for now). PA Government enacted A Nod To Old Jim Crow voting ID laws prior to 2012 election.

Sorry to sound like a broken record - but I'm a black American. You realize that while everyone was cheering on SOME of the SCOTUS decisions this summer they held a big finger up to black Americans and told us to go scratch? They overturned the most important part of the VRA. That along with the Civil Rights act is what gave us our FULL citizenship - not a bullshit civil war, no Amendments- no pandering from the left - no pats on the head from the right . . . 100 years we were shit on America's shoes.

Now - we've had two elections where we came out full force.

Who is the GOP going after? It's us. Latinos/Hispanics are next in line to get sent to the back of the bus. It's the only way they can win - if they suppress the brown people entirely in America.

Where have they gone after us the past two elections the hardest? PA and Ohio. Who were the disenfranchised in 2000? Blacks in Florida.

So you want to knock out Florida, PA, and Ohio? Guess what - I live in the nightmare called 'Christie Land'. He is friends with Rove. Rove can steal a few southern states for him in the Primary - but he will win Fair and Square in every single state Obama took - but in the Republican Primary . . . And I bet you . . . I just bet he would win NJ, Ohio, Michigan and PA.

I'm all for us winning - but I'm also a realist about the voting issues that truly? Only minority Americans are tapped into. Those of us 40 and younger have our parents' first hand experiences so we know - These are very dangerous times for us.

And it's not JUST the old South - ohhhhhhhhhhh no . . . It was Ohio and PA. And it was places like Cincy - and oh yeah . . . Philly.

Let's be confident - but let's not be arrogant and believe that us blacks and browns in America have sure fire strongly set rights in this country. Since Obama won - we've ALL been under attack.

And mark my words - in 2016 . . .They are OUT TO PUNISH US. Do not drop the ball. Please. VRA must be fully put back in place - because they took the part out that counts the most.

But I still want Sherrod Brown in 2016!

He could take the Great Lakes States (including Western NY and PA).

There are places where deBlasio wouldn't fly. We have to keep working to try to change that.
