There is a new one in our town (it's a ghost town in there). Full of useless, toxic, Chinese-made crap.
They put a very wierd full-page ad in our local paper referring to the Bible and goddess-knows-what-all.
They fell of my radar, but now I read about them from time to time iin the same vein.
Interested in the back story...

(910 posts)We believe that it is by God's grace and provision that Hobby Lobby has endured. He has been faithful in the past, and we trust Him for our future.

(15,800 posts)Based on what former HL employees have said, the company is one of those that use Christianity as a facade. Their treatment of employees is anything but Christian, sometimes verging on the abusive. "Jesus Sells" is not quite the same as "Jesus Saves".

(2,674 posts)I think they need to do a little praying about the quality of their merchandise. I have been in their stores several times for ribbon, beads and yarn. The one thing I noticed in all three of these categories is that what they offer is cheap and inferior to what is offered in the other craft stores.
