Converting fighter jets into drones is not new, look up the QF-4. These will be used for pilots to practice against and also for testing of missile defense.

They have a remote-control-system (with AI as back-up) that's compatible with the electronics of most of their planes and helicopters. Screw it in, plug in some cables and that's it.

They demonstrated a successful flight with a transport-helicopter.

Next goal: Remote-control a Tiger attack helicopter, including weapon-systems.

wont that be nice .. countries fight wars - but no one gets killed.

maybe they should replace wars with a football match or something .. the losing team's country has to agree to the terms of the winning team.

Maybe we should make some assembly robots that can automate the whole process from forging the metal, delivery, and assembly. Then SkyNet can really take off.
