Norway Socialist Left politician blasts far-right for opposition to immigration and foreign aid.

SV’s Heikki Holmås states he will not apologise for his Facebook thread saying those abroad perceive the Progress Party (FrP) as being Norway’s right wing Populist Party, comparing it to the Danish People’s Party and the Swedish Democrats. FrP plans to enlighten international media.

One shouldn’t apologise for something that’s true, NRK reports Mr Holmås stated last week, talking about their immigration and aid money stance. The Socialist Left are in favour of dual nationality.

Incoming Conservative (H) Prime Minister, Erna Solberg, has called Holmås’ remarks unfair and urged him to apologise.

“Progress is a Party that is committed to stricter immigration policies, and many of the policies FrP discussed in their campaign are actually policies some of our neighbouring countries have introduced. We don’t call these right wing populist countries,” she said.

At least one Socialist politician in Norway is not "playing nice" in opposition to the new Conservative government which has brought the far-right Progress Party into the government.
