I think it's a good idea to raise awareness among those who use similar services, to look for back packs, or other suspicious packages that are unattended. I understand what you're saying, but this sign isn't the greatest of examples.

I'm not against the concept at all. If I saw an individual leave a large bag on a platform or sidewalk, I would do something as well. My point is a more existential one that a similar statement to the op in a different context is often derided here as fascist or, funny enough, "Orwellian" which I agree is silly.
