Glenn Beck completely loses it.

Not only (according to Beck) is Syria a "distraction" from the "HUGE Benghazi scandal and cover-up," Beck stated flat out today that Obama is a traitor.

Glenn Beck Honors 9/11 By Accusing President Obama Of Treason

Submitted by Kyle Mantyla on Wednesday, 9/11/2013 2:44 pm

Just the other day, Glenn Beck was complaining that everyone thinks that he hates President Obama while insisting that he doesn't, claiming, as proof, that he had never even called for Obama to be impeached.

That was, of course, a lie ... and today he took things a step further on his radio program by accusing Obama of treason.

Furious about the speech President Obama delivered on Syria last night, Beck asserted that any military action against the Syrian regime would be for the benefit of al Qaeda, which would make Obama guilty of aiding and abetting the enemies of the United States of America and "that makes him a traitor."

Saying that Obama "doesn't think like an American, he thinks like a guy in the Middle East, he thinks like a foreigner," Beck said of Obama's speech last night that "somebody should get the dictionary out for [the definition of] treason because I'm pretty sure there has to be several witnesses to someone aiding and abetting the enemy of the United States."

"How are we seriously being asked to aid and abet the enemy of the United States of America?" Beck bellowed. "How's that possible? How dead inside does he think we are to ask us to go along with it on the eve of September 11?":

Because the al Qaeda/treason shit came straight from Paul's pre-recorded "response" to the President's speech last night.

12. "he thinks like a foreigner". It is telling that to a right winger that is an insult.

I wish more of our politicians "thought like a foreigner" with respect to progressive taxes, national health care, the safety net, union protections and a host of other progressive government policies.

Of course, wanting to prevent ideas such as these from taking root in the US is what makes right wingers portray "thinking like a foreigner" in such a negative way. Too much "foreign" thinking would not be good for the right wing agenda.

16. And imagine how the ability to "think like a foreigner" could be of use

in foreign policy! I bet it would be way cheaper and much more effective than say, the MIC.

But of course proponents of small government and Freedumb! can't have that.

with an audience ready to willingly pull a chair up to the all-u-can-eat buffet.

(Aside: I was once in a buffet restaurant – which locals called a "food bar" – and a man actually did pull up a chair. He was finally escorted out.)

I mean, Glenn Beck lost whatever small bit of "it" he had Long Ago.

Plus, Benghazi!

Just out of curiosity, how many people actually listen to this whack? Anybody know?

For a long time, I kept hoping that Beckerhead, Rushbo, et all would discredit themselves by going too far out. Fact, gang, they went too far out a long time ago. This bunch is so far out the buses don't run there, and it doesn't hurt them. Their minions, er, fans just keep eating it up.

The fact that their fan base is aging rapidly may be a major factor here. These are people who drank anti-communist paranoia with their mother's milk, and fed on Nixon and Ronnie Raygun's paranoid fantasies even before the advent of Beckerhead, et al.

The good news is, that I don't think they have many younger listeners, perhaps a few; but, most younger people are listening to Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, not the tighty righties.
