(CNN) Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will comment briefly on the debate over potential U.S. military action in Syria when she's at the White House on Monday, according to a Clinton source.
Clinton, whose aide said last week she supported the president's decision to seek congressional authorization for strikes in Syria, is scheduled to appear Monday afternoon for a forum on wildlife trafficking.
Clinton will likely repeat her White House comments during her speech Tuesday night at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, the source added.
Also Tuesday night, the president is scheduled to deliver an address on Syria to the public from the White House at 9 p.m. ET.

(39,961 posts)You might be right, but I think the calculus on warmongering has changed after too much austerity belt-tightening.

(39,961 posts)They have lost the last marbles they had. No one wants it except such warmongering idiots that have been well defined as warmongering idiots like William Kristol, and now John Kerry. Tread lightly in political landmines, because this is one that the American people do not want.
You can shout austerity all day long, but when tightening our belts becomes open your checkbook for a war we have no business getting involved in? Just slap us in the face and tell us we need to submit and that you know better. It isn't like it is our tax dollars.

remember this is the woman who did her famous "we came, we saw, he died" gloat when gaddafi died. This is just another step towards her desire to "obliterate Iran" that she expressed back in 2008.
