Amazingly (or maybe not so much) USA M$M utterly IGNORES Wikileaks bombshell on Stratfor Corporation

Last edited Mon Feb 27, 2012, 11:24 PM - Edit history (1)

Unless someone can correct me, by directing me to some actual evidence of any
M$M outlet even mentioning the 1.5 hour PRESS CONFERENCE in Australia about
this shwarmy sleazy corporate privatization of our country's "national security"
activities .. including spying, entrapment into sexually "embarrassing" situations,
providing agent provocateurs, you name it.

Did I miss something?

BTW - if you'd like to see this presser, go to: http://www.livestream.com/occupyptown
then double click on the "Latest Videos" at bottom of screen title "Wikileaks Truth Bomb"
as it was recently archived at this site. See it while you can.

And then casts someone like Tom (the crazy) Cruise to play the lead.

And THEN most people will think it's just fiction.

But at least it will be "out there".

It's Stratfor. Not Stanfor.

As for "even mentioning", here's CNN, here's Daily Telegraph, Here's the SJ Mercury News, Here's UPI. Here's the CS Monitor pointing out there's nothing in the leaks that's "bad", just embarrassingly bad analysis.

Heck, here's the Ventura County Star.

AND I am totally HAPPY to be "proven wrong" in my assessment that M$M was ignoring this development.

I can't get the linked video to play. You are correct in that I can't find anything on an Australian presser on Stratfor.

The AAS has several articles on Stratfor.

most recent:

http://www.statesman.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/austin/theticker/entries/2012/02/27/hacking_fallout_continues_for.html

From what I can see, Stratfor is mainly just a danger to the bank accounts of the corporations that hire them. They don't seem especially competent. They are based here Austin and my take on them is they are just an opportunistic company scamming from paranoid corporations.

Other MSM is covering them. Here's one from the AP via the AAS
