Is Mitt showing the same signs that Ronnie showed? Is he going down a path

of decreasing brain function?

To me he is saying too many statements that are not connected and reasoned out. Even the wife knows and jumped in just like Nancy to keep the scam going.

Instead of stepping out for the good of the country.

This is just my opinion and have no inside info.

It would seem his disconnect and rigidness are factors. You may be on to something..n/t monmouth Feb 2012 #2

off about his thought processes.

I have often said he is severe anal retentive. I know the behavior....when confronted or criticized his body stiffens
and seizes up. The speed of his speech speeds up. It's almost childlike...the way a kid might act when
his brother or sister falsely accused him of something.

This idea was further reinforced after reading Vanity Fair (Feb issue). His son told about that infamous trip from
Boston to Ontario, with the dog. He had planned every detail about the trip - and there would be only certain
stops for gas. He warned the children that there would be absolutely no exceptions. This struck me as
so authoritarian, another anal retentive symptom.

In this article he also exhibits his authoritarian nature when he told a former babysitter of theirs who was pregnant
and not married that she needed to give up the child for adoption. When she said no, he warned her that
she might be kicked out of the Mormon church

the whole Republican Party is going down the same path as Ronnie. I am not saying that to be mean. I am saying that because I have seen no evidence of connected and well reasoned statements among the current crop of prominent Republicans. I haven't seen much among the rank and file either.

It does not matter how stupid and bigoted or brain dead the field is. Reagan had Alzheimers the day he took the oath. He was very well sheltered for 8 years. Romney and Santorectum sound like Sara Palin in different ways. Both talk senseless word salad. Norquist is right all the backers of these fools want is someone to sign their name.

I do believe that the GOP does not care because THEY HAVE FIXED THIS ELECTION IN THEIR VIEW. Based on the background chatter they believe they will make the 2000 and 2004 antics look like amateur hour. Why are they so bold as to throw out their entire agenda and tell everyone they will just take over. That is what they are doing.

It bothers me that they are so bold. In the past even the mention of something like we will stop Medicare would have gotten them crucified at the polls.

Just because you are paranoid does not mean someone is not after you.

Only the most clueless outsider Republicans are showing any serious worry about either this election or the next. What I wonder is what the think tanks are saying to the largest corporations - what are THEY planning in the next four years?
