Mitt Romney in Kalamazoo: Brighton has the best deals on grave sites, according to his father Gov. George Romney

KALAMAZOO — Mitt Romney had some advice for his Kalamazoo audience tonight.

If you want the cheapest grave site in Michigan, look no further than Brighton.

The Republican presidential candidate said during his 40-minute talk in Kalamazoo:

We were in Detroit this morning, at the Detroit Economic Club, then through Mount Clemens, then drove here across the interstate.

Drove past Brighton. My parents' grave sites are there. My dad — trust my dad — my dad is a very frugal man. He checked all over for where the best deal was on a grave site. And he found a place in Brighton — because we didn't live in Brighton.

It’s like, "How did you pick Brighton dad?"

"Well, it's the best price I could find in the whole state."

He's a Social Darwinist. That's the whole point of this economy: to drive the useless eaters into the grave without the use of cattle cars or concentration camps.

We're not being honest with ourselves by not understanding that this is the whole point of capitalism.

noodlebrain.com coaching so he can break his automaticity that so many are bored with, and then come back to life so people can see what he really has to offer in his heart, but cannot find the emotion to say. I can help. Someone tell him to look me up, quick.

50% in escrow, 10% per week for each satisfied result for 5 weeks, then I get the other 50% when he wins the republican nominee election. And it will be a lot more fun for him. BTW, I will be voting for Obama.. but, I have always rooted for Romney to be his competitor. I can see he is a good person, and probably will do what the people want, even more than Obama will, if he gets in. That is probably why the right is so scared of him. They cannot control this man once he is in charge. Rich people are so cheap, he probably won't realize the virtue of simplicity and some good old fashion coaching on the basis of western thought: Ethics, Logic, and Passion. My credentials are great.

Someone tell him. [email protected]. I can help. I have lots of UI time on my hands waiting for my MA to start in the fall.

Home of a child involved in one of the most horrific child murder cases in Michigan history. It happened in 1984 and I am sure most people no longer remember. But still jarred me.

so there's a limit to how many they can put in their mouth at once, but Willard is rewriting the friggin' book. W is probably somewhere having this read to him and going, "What a dumbass."

so your funeral procession will take pretty much forever and nobody will ever come to visit your grave after you are gone.

Ya know, we drove right past where my parents are buried today and didn't even slow down. Family values at work"

Edit to add: I made this whole thing up. Please do not take it seriously, it is not a quote (although the 116 miles is accurate).

I-96 heads NW to Grand Rapids. I-94 heads W from Mt. Clemens all the way to Kzoo.

He was never even closer than 20 miles from his parents' graves in Brighton when he drove through Ann Arbor on I-94.

I live near I-94 and Moross. My old boy scout camp is near Brighton and my father was from Kalamazoo. I sill have cousins there.

It was a joke.

Sadly, someone will have to explain to him the problem with that.
