4. i have been watching the noth pole for years. this pond does not look so large from the other cam.

past years i have seen more snow storms. a few years ago in sept it was far wetter. i believe it had really melted. you can watch past years.

They're visible in the air photo. It looks like the floe was crushed on the sides, leaving nowhere for the water to drain to. What should be strengthening the ice is now weakening it.

The texture continues on the water.

There are only a couple spots where you can see the ice surface. There's a storm up there now.
