Republican hero of the Week

Rep. Amash. Never heard of him before?
Neither have I. But he almost got an amendment through congress to make the nsa quit tapping everyone's phones. I have a feeling he will eventually succeed. See this thread:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=3332727

And for that I propose we make him the Republican Hero of the Week.

I did make clear.

Thing is he was elected by Americans. I feel sorry for them, but they are Americans. And he didn't support the usual suspects in the clown car. Heck RP is closer to a Dem than any of the rest.

I bet there are a few things RP and you agree on. So what does that make you? An RP supporter? An apologist? A RP/Obamaite?

People who live in glass houses must be careful where they cast stones....

And tell the people there. You won't make any dif here.

I'd never vote for him, but today, in a pile of repugnicants, he actually has a little polish.

He stood for my constitutional rights.

Say, if you were in the water, struggling to stay afloat, would you deny his help?

The idea is that if republicans hear some praise for their slight moves toward sanity, they may just decide to keep making progress?

Besides, he stood for my constitutional rights. That's hero category there.

I haven't seen any credible source that calls are recorded. AFAIK, the bill addressed what we have documentation for, meta-data.

Please edit your post to correct.

Thanks.

But it won't stay a secret much longer.

There is mass evidence that every phone call they can tap, is being tapped. Just because you can't understand that doesn't mean it isn't happening.

And you need not reply. You are one of those who doesn't think voting machines can be rigged. 'Nuff said.

If you have, I wonder where you got it.

There is no credible evidence and near zero plausibility that calls are being recorded.

Your claim that it's secret is not credible. If it's secret, how do you know?
