Outrageous !! Ohio Gun Group Raising Money To Buy George Zimmerman A New Gun..

George Zimmerman may not get his gun back, but an Ohio group’s got him covered: they’re going to buy Zimmerman a new one.

The Buckeye Firearms Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that advocates for the Second Amendment, is soliciting donations to replace Zimmerman’s weapon and accessories following his acquittal for the shooting of Trayvon Martin. The gun was supposed to have been returned to him following the conclusion of the trial, but the potential for further charges to be filed by the Justice Department means the weapon used in the shooting remains in evidence.

Writing on its website, the BFF called the government’s retention of Zimmerman’s possessions an “unacceptable abuse of power,” and accused Attorney General Eric Holder of exploiting the case to further his gun control agenda:

The threats of federal charges on civil rights grounds is little more than blatant pandering for political gain.

Moreover, based on statements he and others have made recently, Holder hopes to use this as the first step toward renewing this administration’s attack on gun rights.

To be fair to all concerned, we have remained silent during the Zimmerman trial. We allowed the evidence to unfold and the justice system to run its course. Now the jury has spoken and that should be the end of the matter.

George Zimmerman has every right to get his property back.

And if Eric Holder chooses to deny Mr. Zimmerman that right, Buckeye Firearms Foundation will remedy the matter by purchasing a NEW FIREARM for him, including a holster, flashlight, and any other gear he wants.

The Buckeye Firearms Foundation most recent project was to give 144 local schoolteachers firearms training.

tight control - like military and LEO (active and retired) can own guns because they have received proper training, and must go through training every six months.

Take a look at UK. They don't have much guns. Neither does Australia. We remain being the First World that has way too many guns and idiots to shoot their foots off. Israel is extremely strict on gun control, and since Israelis are conscripted for military, it is the appropriate training that allows them to own guns.

Daily we read a story about some idiot shooting themselves or killing innocents. It's time for some serious gun control, and a re-examination of the Second Amendment and have it clarified by the Supreme Court as to who can legally have guns. I can tell you that the Founding Fathers had no intention of letting idiots arm themselves with guns without any impunity. Or create a stockpile. Or have 15+ bullet in a cartridge that is semi-automatic. No sir, at the time, it was muskets that were guns of their time. If we follow the Second Amendment to the letter, then all the gun owners should own a musket and not pistols or assault rifles

I used to own two guns. Both have been disposed of before 9/11. Yes, at that time, I was a 20 year old idiot that learned that guns aren't fun.

I still shoot at the shooting gallery - and enjoy it. And I just leave their light-gun there.

No freedom of speech with phones, internet, or any means not around when the 1st A was passed.
No freedom of press with TV, radio, internet or any means not around when the 1st A was passed.
No freedom of assembly beyond what can be heard without the aid of a PA system or any means not around when the 1st A was passed.
No freedom of petition except those printed on a manual printing press and hand signed because that is how a petition would have been written when the 1st A was passed.

I'm sure one of them has a spare pistol or two to give him. What's the money really for?

... or on himself.

Zimmerman's life was over the moment he pulled the trigger and shot a kid.

He could live to be an old man but his soul belongs to the devil.

Odds of Zimmerman reclaiming his soul: Infinitesimal.

Zimmerman's end will be sad.
