Pres. Obama Speaks On Zimmerman Verdict: "Trayvon Martin Could Have Been Me 35 Years Ago"

Minutes ago, he made a surprise appearance in the Press Briefing Room to reiterate what he said in his written statement last week, but also to elaborate on the issue of race.

The above quote from the President was a powerful reminder to not judge people by their appearance, and more broadly, by their skin color.
